Changing the location of point:

• character:
• C-f move forward
• C-b move backward
• C-n move down
• C-p move up

• in the line:
• C-a move to the beginning of the line
• C-e move to the end of line
• word:
• M-f move forward
• M-b move backward
• buffer:
• M-< move to the top of the buffer
• M-> move to the end of the buffer
• page:
• C-v scroll the display one screen forward
• M-v scroll the display one screen backward

Using multiple buffers

• selecting buffers:
• C-x <LEFT> select the previous buffer
• C-x <RIGHT> select the next buffer
